My journey
I worked for 30 years for large international management consulting firms, including Accenture and Ernst & Young where I was a partner for 15 years. I worked on and managed a wide variety of projects for clients in the Financial Services industry including strategy development, large scale technology implementation and organisational change. I also held senior management positions. I was Managing Director of Accenture in Scotland for 5 years.
After retiring from full time employment, I retrained as a certified career counsellor and now run my own counselling, coaching and consulting business, Ovalway Consulting. I am strongly motivated by helping people achieve their full potential at work.
I have been married for over 30 years and have four children. I am an enthusiastic, though talentless, participant in sport and the arts, particularly golf, sailing and opera. I worked closely with the British Olympic sailing team and served as a member of the Board of Scottish Opera for many years
